Indian tunic top first gained fame in America in the 1960s and now is found in many department stores. Short indian tunic (kurti) goes well with indo-western clothing. Indo-Western Clothing

Indo-western clothing is essentially fusion fashion of western and pakistani or indian clothing. Indian and pakistani trouser suit is a variation on the salwar kameez theme. The trouser salwar suit represents indo-western clothing that is very popular in urban pakistani clothes and also indian clothing. Short tunic(replaces kameez) and dupatta, coupled with straight paints (replaces salwar) are typical with trouser suit.
